Progressive Fighting Systems
Progressive Fighting Systems (PFS) is a global organization dedicated to teaching realistic self defense and promoting the expansion of Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino Martial Arts. PFS was founded over 25 years ago by Sigung Paul Vunak. Sigung Vunak was trained by Guru Dan Inosanto, Bruce Lee’s top student and the only man certified by Bruce Lee to teach Jeet Kune Do.

The goal of Progressive Fighting Systems is to provide American civilians with a world-class formula for self-protection, the same programs that we developed for the US Navy SEALs, and that have been adopted by units throughout the military, intelligence, and law enforcement communities. Our systems and strategies have been tested in combat on the battlefield by America's elite Special Operations units. We've taken those same systems and strategies and adapted them for the civilian community, people like you and your family. Our organization has one central mission, teaching realistic self-protection skills.
The goal of Progressive Fighting Systems is to utilize the military Jeet Kune Do-based training programs that we've developed to help people grow and perfect themselves mentally, physically, and spiritually. In this way, we hope to honor our lineage back to Bruce Lee and his vision for martial art.
