JB MuSsang Jaeger is the Head Instructor and Director of Operations of Progressive Fighting - Maryland.  Sifu Jaeger is an Apprentice Instructor under Sifu Paul Vunak and is currently the only Maryland representative for the Descendants of the Masters, Sigung Vunak's elite circle of instructors who are the official representatives of Sigung Vunak's art.  Sifu Jaeger brings over twenty years of martial arts experience to Progressive Fighting - Maryland, along with over ten years of practical experience in bouncing, asset protection, and private security.  He is certified to teach Rapid Assault Tactics and Edged Weapons to civilians, as well as the Force Continuum Law Enforcement training program, a program that Sifu Jaeger has tested and utilized himself working in the bars and clubs of Baltimore & Annapolis, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Sifu Jaeger began his martial arts training in Matsubayashi-ryu Karatedo.  He furthered his martial arts training under Park Changhwa in Taekwondo Mudeokgwan and Sibpalgi, and represented the state of Maryland at the 2000 US National Taekwondo Championships.  He trained in Seon Buddhism and meditation under the Venerable Pohwa-seunim, who tasked him to research the connection between martial art and Zen.  He began his training in Sigung Vunak's Progressive Fighting Systems while in college, under Sifu Harounah Soumah.
Sifu Jaeger has a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.  He is also a Dharma Teacher of the Blue Mountain Order of the World Zen Fellowship.  Through his Zen practice, his continued training in Jeet Kune Do, and his work with Adapt for Life, Sifu Jaeger considers it his life's goal to embody the motto of the Descendants of the Masters, "Quiet Mind, Dangerous Body, Compassionate Spirit.
