Progressive Fighting - Maryland is the MD headquarters for Rapid Assault Tactics (RAT). Rapid Assault Tactics is the self-protection system developed for and at the request of the US Navy's eliteSEAL Team 6 (now known as DEVGRU). In addition to being developed for the Navy SEALS, Rapid Assault Tactics has been taught to nearly every American military, intelligence, and defense agency, including the Air Force, the Army Rangers, the United States Marine Corps, and the CIA. It has also been taught to law enforcement agencies, including the US Marshals, the DEA, the FBI, and numerous state and local police departments and SWAT teams. Now, Rapid Assault Tactics is available to the general American public. Rapid Assault Tactics is not a traditional martial art and it is not a sport. It is a highly effective system of self-protection and self-perfection developed for the battlefield and tested by America's top Special Operations units.

Progressive Fighting - Maryland offers students the chance to train in this practical, real-world system of self-protection. Designed for military units that do not have the luxury of years to learn how to fight, Rapid Assault Tactics is a system that offers the whole spectrum of self-protection techniques and makes them quickly available to students.
